Mulanje Mission Hospital (MMH) is a mission hospital of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian located in Southern Malawi, close to the Mozambique border. There is a strong commitment to fellowship and evangelism and each day morning prayers are led by one of the hospital employees.

MMH is a leader in a nation-wide program to screen women to prevent cervical cancer, the most common cancer in women in Malawi. A palliative care program offers care to AIDS sufferers and those with cancer or other terminal illnesses, and works closely with other services such as the ART and Home Based Care (HBC) programs. A daily outpatient clinic is held at MMH, and many patients are cared for in their homes and communities by HBC volunteers.

Hospital acquired infections are a major cause of preventable morbidity and mortality in developing countries, including Malawi. Mulanje Hospital has been recognized as a center of excellence in infection prevention, and has demonstrated continued maintenance of those high standards. Being a center of excellence in infection prevention denotes that MMH ensures safety of its clients, patients and health personnel.

Mulanje Hospital has an excellent reputation as a hospital and its nursing school is one of the best in the nation.
